The Ayr News is an independent weekly newspaper serving the area in and around Ayr, Ontario. It has been family owned and operated by the Schmidt Family for 98 years. Purchased by Alfred J. Schmidt and John A. Schmidt on October 1st, 1913.

The Ayr News is available for viewing/printing on Microfilm at the Ayr Library and Kitchener Library (main).
